IMPORTANT - as of July 2010, anyone wishing to appear on the ISA Register may also wish to apply for an Enhanced CRB. You can apply for ISA registration to include an Enhanced CRB or not, both these options will cost the same price.

Who needs to register & why?

IMPORTANT - The Independent Safeguarding Authority (ISA) are introducing new regulations which will mean, as of July 2010, adults wanting to work (including volunteering to work) with children and / or vulnerable adults will be required by law to register with the Vetting & Barring Scheme.

Employers will also be legally bound to check and confirm that the person they have engaged in regulated activity is ISA registered.

The ISA Registration & CRB process:

  1. We send out a CRB Disclosure Form to the client's HR department or directly to the applicant.
  2. Each applicant completes the form, returns it to us, and provides us with any relevant supporting documentation.
  3. We process the CRB check.
  4. We report the results of the CRB check to the client / applicant.
