Bankruptcy is a legal status when an individual can be declared by the court as Bankrupt and it is a legal process by which protection and relief are provided to the individual to help pay off their debts.

Insolvency is a financial state where an individual cannot repay their debts on time.

County Court Judgment (CCJ), is a type of court order that might be registered against an individual if they fail to repay money owed.
