COVID-19 Volunteer Roles – Before you buy a Basic DBS
If you have or you are thinking about volunteering as part of the NHS COVID-19 Volunteer Army and you want to get yourself an up-to-date DBS check, we advise that you check with your volunteer group first before ordering, as a Basic DBS check may not meet requirements of the volunteer role.
Please ask your Volunteer Group to contact us on 0191 5887980, or submit the enquiry below to receiving ‘free of charge’* enhanced DBS checks and a reduction in cost for all DBS checks. Basic DBS checks cannot be upgraded to Standard or Enhanced after you purchase and Standard & Enhanced checks only available through a sponsor organisation and require eligibility confirmation.
Applications for enhanced DBS checks for certain roles relating to COVID-19 are now eligible for barred-list checking within 24 hours. *All applications for organisations relating to COVID-19 will be charged a nominal administration fee of £3.50 plus VAT until further notice.
