Why won’t the form accept my driving licence?

You driving licence number is a combination of letters and numbers that relate directly to your first, middle and last names, date of birth and gender so if there is any mismatch between the details on your driving licence and your names, date of birth and gender in section 2 of your application form, our system will not allow you to continue until they do match.

If the details don’t match, you should still upload the copy of your driving licence, but then you should select “NO” you do not have a driving licence in the question field further down the screen.

If you are also providing a copy of your passport that does not have the same name details as your driving licence, you should still upload the copy of your driving licence, but then select “NO” you do not have a driving licence in the question field further down the screen.

This will not affect your screening.

Please also ensure you are not using Internet Explorer because this browser is not compatible with our system. Please use Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Firefox or Safari instead.

If you continue to have further problems please reply to this email and we’ll try to help you as best we can!
